Scott McCaulleyPT, DPT
Scott was raised in central Kansas where he attended Great Bend High School and played soccer. His education continued at Sterling College in Kansas where he replaced soccer with ultimate Frisbee. In 2011, he earned his undergraduate degree in Biology and was accepted into the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Physical Therapy program. During Scott’s doctorate program, he completed clinical rotations in Kansas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. These rotation granted him experience in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient orthopedics.
In 2014 he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy and received honors of clinical and academic excellence. He continues his education through a manual therapy certification program with intentions to sit for an orthopedic specialty exam in 2016.
Currently, Scott calls Pauls Valley home. His passion outside of the physical therapy is rock climbing, despite his fear of heights. His climbing adventures have been limited to Arkansas but he hopes to expand into longer and higher climbs around the United States. When unable to climb Scott enjoys to play golf and basketball, back country camp, hunt, fish and spend time at the lake.
Ali GilsonPT, DPT
Ali graduated in 2009 from the University of California San Diego with a Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science and a minor in Spanish Literature. After realizing she didn’t want to spend her life in a neuroscience lab reading people’s brain waves, she decided to pursue physical therapy. Ali earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and graduated with Outstanding Distinction. During her final year of PT school, she was inducted as a member of the Alpha Eta Honor Society, an organization representing the top 10% of Allied Health students in the nation. She is now super excited to be a part of the amazing team at Physical Therapy Central.
Ali has been a member of the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association and American Physical Therapy Association since 2014. She thoroughly enjoys attending events and conferences such as the APTA’s Combined Sections Meeting, which in 2016 was held close to her home turf in Anaheim, CA. Her passion is in outpatient orthopedics and she intends to continue her education with a certification program in manual therapy.
Ali is a California girl, born and raised, and is married to a Navy pilot, yet has somehow found herself residing in Oklahoma—a completely land-locked state. Go figure. Despite the lack of coastline, she manages to spend a lot of time playing “beach” (sand) volleyball with various recreational teams in the area. She also enjoys kayaking with her husband, reading, fitness, crochet, and terrible puns.
