Scott was born raised in central Kansas where he attended Great Bend High School while he participated in athletics, with a focus on soccer. His college education started at Sterling College in Kansas where he replaced soccer, and Ultimate Frisbee, while also participating in rock climbing. Scott earned his Undergraduate degree in Biology and was accepted into the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Physical Therapy program. During Scott’s doctorate program, he completed clinical rotations in Kansas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. Scott continued his education to include Board Certification in Orthopaedic physical therapy through an advanced manual therapy program with Evidence in Motion (EIM).
In 2014 he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy and received honors of clinical and academic excellence. He advanced his clinical skills through the manual therapy program with Evidence in Motion and proceeded to obtain his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist board certification in 2016.
Currently, Scott calls Oklahoma City his home. His passion outside of the physical therapy is rock climbing, despite his fear of heights. His climbing adventures have been limited to Arkansas but he hopes to expand into longer and higher climbs around the United States. When unable to climb Scott enjoys to play golf and basketball, back country camp, hunt, fish and spend time at the lake.
