Meet the Staff
Justin Friedman earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Prior to that, Justin obtained his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Central Oklahoma.
Justin is most interested in treating musculoskeletal injuries and post-surgical for shoulders and knees.
In his free time, Justin enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching Oklahoma Sooners and Indianapolis Colts football, and outdoor activities.
Kevin grew up in Altus, Oklahoma, where he actively participated in basketball and tennis during high school. He also has vast experience instructing both tennis and swimming lessons to various age groups and skill levels. After high school Kevin attended the University of Oklahoma where he earned a Bachelor’s in Zoology with an emphasis in Bio-Medical Sciences
He continued his studies and earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Emory University. Emory University is located in Atlanta, Georgia and is ranked as one of the top physical therapy programs in the Nation. During physical therapy school he served as the student liaison for the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Kevin was also chosen by Emory University to represent them as a student panel member during their Accreditation Process. His special interests in PT school also included research studying EMG activity of the lower leg and mechanics at the foot and ankle.
Kevin’s joined the Physical Therapy Central family to further pursue his special interests in orthopedics, sports-related injuries, and spine rehabilitation. He has completed an 18-month residency program in orthopaedic physical therapy through Evidence in Motion. After completing the Residency, he earned the distinction of Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) by the American Physical Therapy Association. Kevin has also directly worked with performing artists from a variety of traveling Broadway shows in here in Oklahoma.
Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife Candice and his 2 children, especially if the outdoors are involved. During his free time he enjoys traveling, watching movies, playing golf and volleyball, and exploring new music. His is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association (OPTA), and the Northwest Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce.
Rachel Branch earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Oklahoma State University. Prior to that, Rachel obtained her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Athletic Training from Oklahoma State University.
Rachel specializes in pelvic health and is most interested in treating urinary incontinence and postpartum conditions.
In her free time, Rachel enjoys running, cooking, and traveling.
Growing up in Tulsa, OK, Maya was very active with playing soccer and running cross country and track. She unfortunately had a career ending injury while playing soccer, which had her go through physical therapy. That is when she realized it was PT she wanted to pursue for her career.
Maya went to the University of Oklahoma for her undergrad, where she graduated with her Bachelor’s in Multidisciplinary Studies with a focus in Sport Physiology. After working five years as a physical therapy tech, she attended Oklahoma City Community College to become a Physical Therapist Assistant, graduating on the Vice Presidents Honor Roll. Maya is planning on becoming a member of the APTA and OPTA in the near future, while continuing her education to obtain her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree.
In her free time, Maya enjoys running and watching sports, especially football. She is an animal lover, as she has two cats and one dog. Her favorite food is sushi and her favorite dessert is anything with chocolate and peanut butter. Maya and her husband reside in Edmond and are expecting their first child.
