  • Ashley Gutierrez

    Ashley GutierrezPT, DPT, OCS

    Ashley is originally from Midwest City, OK and graduated from Carl Albert High School in 2003 where she played volleyball, basketball, and track. She then earned her Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science in 2007 from the University of Oklahoma. During this time, Ashley was involved in community service serving on the Breast Cancer Awareness Committee, the Great American Smoke-out Committee, and the Adopt-A-Child Committee.

    Ashley earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2011 from the University of Oklahoma. While attending physical therapy school, Ashley was the Community Service Chair for the Student Physical Therapy Association. She organized several community service events, including developing physical activities for elementary school kids, organizing a student medical team for the OKC Memorial Marathon, assisting children with developmental disabilities playing baseball, Relay for Life, and buying Christmas presents for children in Children’s Hospital.

    Ashley is also involved in the American Physical Therapy Association {APTA} and Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association {OPTA}. She attended the APTA National Student Conclave in Miami, FL in 2009. She continues to participate in all state meetings and currently serves as the Treasurer for the OPTA Political Action Committee.

    She completed a year and a half Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency program through Evidence in Motion. Through this program, Ashley has received advanced education in orthopaedics. Ashley then became Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 2014, a distinction limited to less than 5% of actively practicing Physical Therapists. Her special interests include orthopedics, manual therapy, spinal dysfunction, and neurological rehabilitation. Her future plans include Board Certification in one of the specialty areas offered by the APTA.

    Ashley is married to a former OU football player and current Oklahoma City Firefighter, Jacob Gutierrez, and they recently welcomed a baby boy, Jace. Ashley enjoys spending time with her family, attending OU sporting events, and volunteering in her church and community.

  • Abby Cloud

    Abby CloudPTA

    Abby was born in 1993 in Enid, Oklahoma and has lived in Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and even Europe. She graduated from Stillwater High School in 2012 and was very active in athletics with volleyball being her main and favorite sport.

    Abby attended University of Arkansas- Fort Smith and earned her Associate in General Studies as well as attending Emergency Medical Technician classes in 2015. She was then accepted into Tulsa Community College’s PTA program which lead to Abby graduating with an Associate in Applied Science degree and passing her National Physical Therapist Assistant Exam in 2017.

    Abby is now engaged to her fiancé, Ryan, with a wedding date of January 21st, 2018. In her spare time Abby enjoys listening to music, taking pictures, being outside, and hanging out with friends, family, and her fiancé.

    Abby is an active member of the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association. She is very excited to call Physical Therapy Central her new home as she starts her career as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

  • Charlotte Ermeling

    Charlotte ErmelingPT, DPT

    Charlotte is an Oklahoma native who graduated from Moore High School in 1996.  There, she played fastpitch and slow pitch softball, basketball, and track.  She attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University where she played varsity fast pitch softball and was very active in the NCAA Student/Athlete Advisory Committee, Gamma Delta Kappa Honor Sorority, and Biology Club.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in 2000 with a major in Biology and minor in Psychology.  She obtained her Master in Physical Therapy through the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2003.  In 2013, she returned to her academic studies and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Arcadia in 2014.

    Charlotte’s initial interest in physical therapy was due to her own injuries as a student athlete in high school and college thus most of her practice has been in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine.  She also has extensive background with industrial rehabilitation and recently has taken interest in providing rehab care to senior citizens through home health physical therapy.

    Charlotte is proudly and happily married to her husband Bart Ermeling whom is retired from the U.S Army and together they have six children.  They live in Mustang, Oklahoma where, if she is not at work, is likely attending their two youngest daughters’ school and club activities.  In her spare time, she enjoys participating in community volunteer programs, attending sporting events, traveling, and golfing.
