Thomas was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and raised in Yukon, Oklahoma. He is a proud first-generation born Asian American; his parents were South Vietnamese refugees during the Vietnam War. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma – Norman Campus with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. Following undergrad, he obtained certification as an Emergency Medical Technician. He then became a Physical Therapy Technician where he was exposed to the world of physical therapy.
Continuing his education, Thomas was accepted into physical therapy school and graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. His proudest achievement right out school was being accepted into the USAF direct commission officer program as a captain physical therapist. To that end, Thomas is very excited to further his physical therapy career as a member of Physical Therapy Central and hopes to continually develop himself as both a therapist and a human being.
When he isn’t working, Thomas enjoys weightlifting, trying new places to eat, traveling, and spending time with family or friends. His favorite vacation spot, to date, is Grand Cayman, but he hopes to visit more places that are outside of the continental United States. Besides physical therapy, he has a passion for researching bodybuilding concepts, the gaming industry, technology innovations, investment opportunities, and cooking recipes.
