  • Amanda Polk

    Amanda PolkPT, DPT, OCS

    Amanda Polk is the owner and manager of Physical Therapy Central of Lindsay. She earned her Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2009. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree and completed an 18 month Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency program through Evidence in Motion in 2013. Through this program, Amanda received advanced education in orthopedics and became Board Certified in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy, a distinction limited to less than 5% of actively practicing physical therapists.

    In addition to her graduate work, Amanda earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Exercise Science from the University of Oklahoma in 2006 and an Associate of Science degree in Biology from Western Oklahoma State College in 2003.

    Amanda’s areas of interest include orthopedics, manual therapy, spinal dysfunction, and sports therapy. She has received specialized training in the McKenzie method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) for spinal dysfunction as well as trigger point dry needling. Amanda is an active member of the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association (OPTA) and American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

    Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband, Robert, and their daughter, Natalie. She also enjoys live music, attending OU sporting events, traveling to the Caribbean, relaxing at the lake, and hosting backyard get-togethers with family and friends.

  • Melanie Neill

    Melanie NeillPTA

    Melanie Neill earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Rose State College in 2001. As a student, she was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society.

    Melanie offers 15 years of clinical experience including acute and post-surgical rehab, skilled nursing, and outpatient PT. Her passion lies in orthopaedics and manual therapy, and she has completed several advanced continuing education courses on these topics. She also has an interest in yoga and nutrition. She is a member of both the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association.

    Originally from Moore, Melanie has made Lindsay her home since 2004. She and her husband, Eric, married in 2000, and together they have one daughter, Kaylie. Melanie enjoys attending live music performances, camping, crafting, and home improvement projects. She is excited to be back home at PTC Lindsay.
