Zoey Therapy Doggo

Zoey Therapy Doggo
Zoey is our therapy wonder-dog here at PTC! She was born on November 27, 2013 in North Carolina, and then ventured to Philadelphia where she joined Ben Buchanan at Arcadia University’s Physical Therapy School. She worked with students there, easing their stress during lab finals and stressful exams.
Now, she lives here in Oklahoma, where she loves the people but not the hot summers. She graduated from A New Leash on Life in Norman, OK with her therapy dog certification in 2017. She’s travelled to many PTC locations over the years before settling down in Northeast Oklahoma City, where she spends her time helping patients through their physical therapy and making our staff smile.
Zoey loves meeting new people and makes sure to greet every patient with a big smile! She’s a winter girl at heart, and loves lounging outside when it’s cool out (but you won’t find her outside on a hot afternoon). Her hobbies include long runs through Mesta Park, chasing squirrels, and playing tug o’ war. Our physical therapists are amazing, but let’s be honest – Zoey is the best reason to schedule your physical therapy at our clinic!

Demi Therapy Dog
Therapy Dog
Demi Therapy Dog
Therapy DogDemi Bleu Trachman was born on June 10, 2017 – a national holiday in the eyes of her parents, Brandon and Devin. She has been with them ever since she was 8 weeks old. Demi is a mini Goldendoodle – a mix of 25% Golden Retriever and 75% mini Poodle. Despite her parents knowing the importance of walking, they might have spoiled her a little bit as a puppy. Now her favorite form of transportation is to be carried around like a kid.
When Devin’s work hours began running long, she tried taking Demi to Doggy Daycare. However, she quickly learned that Demi was way more interested in people than she was other pets. Devin realized she worked in the perfect environment for Demi to put her people loving skills to use! So when Demi turned one year old, she began going to work with her mom at Physical Therapy Central
After a year of interning, Demi proved herself dedicated to the profession. She began taking Therapy Dog classes at Full Circle Obedience in Oklahoma City where she graduated in 2020. She now works full-time in patient care. Her duties include: greeting patients as they enter, making sure they know how to scratch between her ears and above her tail, keeping their tables warm as she lays next to them, and bringing a smile to their faces. Don’t miss your opportunity to receive great care from Demi the Doodle & the rest of the team at PTCentral West Edmond.
