Julie Pitler PT, DPT
Physical TherapistJulie was born and raised in The Village, OK. She graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s in Journalism and went on to work a number of years in the workforce, but ultimately realized she wanted to use her passion for care to serve others… so began her journey to pursue physical therapy as a second career.
While undertaking her pre-PT studies she worked as a physical therapy technician at PTC Midtown where she gained a great deal of experience and mentorship, and later as a therapy aide at a skilled nursing facility in Salt Lake City, UT where she broadened her skills assisting a multi-disciplinary team.
She obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Baylor University. During her time at Baylor, Julie served as a leader of the DPT Gold Committee organizing community outreach projects and she completed clinical rotations in outpatient neurology at Sentara Health in Virginia Beach and the ICU at St. Anthony’s Hospital. Her final clinical was at PTC Village, where she gained experience with orthopedic, sports-related, and post-operative rehab settings. She is interested in pursuing Parkinson’s Wellness & Recovery and Orthopedic Board-Certified Specialist certifications.
Julie loves spending time outdoors with family, friends, and her 2 dogs. She enjoys hiking, camping, SUP, and being co-pilot to her husband.
Julie is excited to be part of the Physical Therapy Central Village family and is looking forward to providing holistic, individualized care to her community.

Paige Swayze PT, DPT
Physical TherapistPaige was born in Lawton, Oklahoma at Comanche County Memorial Hospital where her grandfather was a general surgeon. She grew up in Norman, OK with one older sister. Paige grew up playing soccer, which sadly resulted in a few knees injuries. She tore her ACL when she was just 10 years old! With these injuries, this drew her to the field of physical therapy. Paige’s choice in pursuing physical therapy as a career was solidified after her dad’s sports-related injury, which left him a paraplegic in a wheelchair for the remainder of his life. She hopes to make an impact on her patients’ lives like her dad’s physical therapists did for him.
Paige received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oklahoma, where she majored in Psychology. She met her husband, Cole, during her Anatomy cadaver lab course. During college, Paige worked as a PT technician at PTC in Norman for more than 3 years. After college, she attended South College’s hybrid DPT program, based in Knoxville, TN. .
Paige and her husband moved to Stillwater for his Internal Medicine residency at Stillwater Medical Center. In her free time, she enjoys going on walks with her son and golden doodle Harley, traveling, playing sports, baking, and binge watching TV shows. Paige is very excited to help her patient’s meet their physical goals in order to improve their quality of life and overall wellness.
