Meet the Staff
Kayla was born and raised in Fargo, North Dakota, where she graduated from Fargo North High School. Graduating Magna Cum Laude from Minnesota State University, she recieved her Bachelor’s of Arts in Biology and a Minor in Business and Marketing. Kayla was an active participant throughout her college career in campus activities promoting health and wellness. Continuing her education, she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia.
Kayla is an an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). She is certified in workplace assessments including desk ergonomics, Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE), and Post-Offer Employment testing. She also has her Manual Therapy Certification and plans to further her education by becoming an Orthopedic Certified Specialist.
Outside of physical therapy, Kayla enjoys time with her friends, family, and two dogs. She is usually eager to be outdoors (when above 40 degrees) and can often be found hiking. Kayla enjoys traveling and hopes to achieve her goal of seeing all 50 states – ask to see how many she has remaining!
Britney was born and raised in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. She graduated from Pauls Valley High School in 2012. Following high school, she attended the University of Oklahoma and received her Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science in 2016 and then her Associate of Applied Science Degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant from Oklahoma City Community College in May of 2019. Britney has a passion for helping people and thoroughly enjoys being a PTA. She is currently a member of the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association and American Physical Therapy Association.
She takes special interest in orthopaedics and pediatrics.
Britney married her husband, Taylor, in November of 2018. Currently they reside in Oklahoma City with their two dogs Bruno and Birdie. Outside of the clinic, Britney enjoys going to the lake, hanging out with her friends and family, attending OU football games, eating good food, and traveling.
Chandler was born and raised in Tonkawa, Oklahoma, where she played basketball and ran cross country and track at Tonkawa High School. She attended the University of Central Oklahoma, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. Chandler continued her education, earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She is interested in orthopedics and enjoys working with patients of all ages to reach their goals.
Chandler lived in Edmond with her husband, Christopher, their two dogs, Apollo and Athena, and their cat, Gingersnap. When she is not in the clinic, Chandler enjoys exercising, reading, traveling, and hanging out with her friends and family.
Esmeralda was born and raised in Hidalgo, Mexico, where she spent most of her time helping her grandparents on the farm. In 2010, she moved to Harrisonville, Missouri, and attended Harrisonville High School where she played soccer. After high school, she attended University of Missouri – Kansas City to earn her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and a Minor in Psychology. Following undergrad school, Esmeralda attended Missouri State University and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT). She is passionate about working in the orthopedic setting and plans to become an orthopedic certified specialist (OCS).
Post DPT school, Esmeralda has moved to Edmond, Oklahoma, and is very excited to explore the state of Oklahoma. Outside of the clinic, Esmeralda enjoys, cooking, spending time with family friends, cycling, hiking, and traveling—feel free to recommend your favorite places to visit!
