Christy Nix PT, DPT, OCS

Clinic DirectorChristy was born and raised in The Woodlands, Texas (a suburb north of Houston), along with an identical twin sister and two older sisters. Growing up, Christy participated in numerous sports including competitive swimming, gymnastics, cheerleading, dance, basketball, softball, and cross country. She attended The Woodlands High School where she lettered four years as a dancer on The Woodlands High School Highstepper dance team.
Christy discovered her interest in physical therapy in seventh grade after a sports injury that required her to participate in rehab. In high school, she pursued learning more about physical therapy by completing an internship at a local hospital with an adjacent outpatient physical therapy clinic.
Christy attended The University of Oklahoma for her undergraduate studies and graduated with distinction in 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Studies. She earned her Masters of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Oklahoma’s Health Sciences Center in 2010 where she was named to the Dean’s Honor Roll. Christy continued to work full time while she completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and finished a one and a half year Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency program through Evidence in Motion in June of 2013. Through this program, Christy has received advanced education in orthopaedics. Christy then became Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 2014, a distinction limited to less than 5% of actively practicing Physical Therapists. Her areas of interest in physical therapy include outpatient orthopaedics, manual therapy, sports injuries and rehabilitation, pediatric physical therapy, and spinal dysfunction.
Christy is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is on the executive committee of the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association. She currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Western District of the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association as an elected officer in promoting leadership, education, and networking for the profession.
Outside of work, Christy volunteers to provide physical therapy services for sporting events for athletes. She volunteers on the medical staff for local marathons in Texas and Oklahoma. She has also volunteered on the medical staff since 2008 for the Endeavor Games held in Edmond, OK, for athletes with physical disabilities. She also had the opportunity to volunteer as part of the medical staff for the World Sitting Volleyball Championship in Edmond, OK in 2010.
Christy married the love of her life on July 13th, 2013. She now enjoys living in Edmond, OK, with her husband. She also frequently visits her parents in Edmond, her twin sister in Boston, MA, and her older sisters who live in Denver, CO, and The Woodlands, TX. In her free time, Christy loves spending time with her husband, her family, and her friends. She loves running outside for exercise and participating in races including events at the annual OKC Memorial Marathon. Christy enjoys health/fitness, the outdoors, water skiing and wakeboarding, snow skiing/boarding, dancing, cooking/baking, and being involved at her church.

Meg Robinson PT, DPT, OCS
Meg Robinson PT, DPT, OCS
Meg was born and raised in Oklahoma City. She graduated from Bishop McGuinness High School in 1994, where she participated in track, cross country, and basketball until a knee injury her freshman year. During rehab following three knee surgeries, she became interested in physical therapy. She attended Pepperdine University graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Sport Medicine in 1999. She then graduated from Hardin Simmons University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2006. She passed the Orthopedic Certified Specialist exam in 2015, a distinction limited to less than 5% of actively practicing physical therapists. She enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic diagnoses with special interest in runners and yogis. She will begin a fellowship program in orthopedic manual physical therapy through Evidence in Motion in 2016 and is looking forward to continuing to learn how to further serve her patients. Meg is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association (OPTA). She is currently serving as co-chair for the Western District of the OPTA.
When not in the clinic you can find her on her mat in a yoga class, out for a run, snow skiing, wine tasting, hanging with family and friends at a music festival, playing with her pups, fundraising for the OK Central Humane Society, or fundraising for the MS Crawfish Boil Foundation.

Lauren Coleman PTA
Lauren Coleman PTA
Lauren was born in OKC and grew up in the OKC/Edmond area. She attended Deer Creek High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society and played softball for the Lady Antlers. She graduated in 2015 with a Certificate of Distinction Cum Laude.
After graduation, Lauren attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma where she was actively involved in the Sigma Sigma Chi sorority and was a member of the President/Dean’s Honor Roll. She graduated in 2019 Summa Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Applied Science and an Associate of Applied Science as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
During PTA school, Lauren completed her clinical rotation internships which gave her vast knowledge in the outpatient setting. This allowed her to treat a wide variety of patients with an array of different diagnoses and treatment plans. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association. Her professional interests include post-op orthopedic therapy and sports rehabilitation. In the future, Lauren is looking forward to furthering her education by going back to school to obtain her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.
Outside of work and in her free time, Lauren enjoys watching OU football and softball, attending concerts, watching cooking videos, and spending time with her family and friends.
Lauren is very excited to be a part of the Physical Therapy Central team. She brings enthusiasm, positive energy, and encouragement to the organization and her patients.

Kayla Enloe PT, DPT
Kayla Enloe PT, DPT
Kayla was born and raised in Enid, OK where she grew up participating in many activities, but fell in love with the game of softball. She played competitively for her high school, where she was a pitcher and first baseman. Her passion for the sport allowed her to receive a scholarship to play for Kansas Wesleyan University. While playing collegiately, Kayla sustained an injury that would end her softball career, requiring her to attend physical therapy. It was during her rehabilitation that she developed her interest and passion for physical therapy, particularly in helping athletes return to sport.
Kayla returned to Oklahoma, attending the University of Central Oklahoma where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology in 2015. She then moved to Springfield, MO, and completed an internship with HealthTracks, a sports performance enhancement, and rehabilitation facility, furthering her interest in the field. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Missouri State University in 2019. Kayla has experience in outpatient orthopedic care, with particular emphasis on sports medicine, post-surgical care, pediatrics, and balance training. She is also Dry Needling Certified through the Institute for Athlete Regeneration.
Kayla has been married to her wonderful husband, Chad, for 6 years. Chad is a teacher and football and wrestling coach at a local high school. They are blessed with a gorgeous 10-month-old daughter, Tatum, and have a miniature schnauzer, Ace. They have recently relocated to Edmond, OK, and are excited to begin their journey within the Edmond community. In her free time, you can usually find Kayla playing with her daughter, spending time with her family, supporting her husband and his student-athletes at various sporting events, attending church, or spending time at the lake.

Erin Dorrel PT, MPT
Erin Dorrel PT, MPT
Erin grew up in Overland Park, Kansas. Erin had always wanted to be a physical therapist. She loves learning people’s stories, hearing about their lives, and having the opportunity to make their life better.
Erin attended The University of Kansas for her undergraduate studies and graduated with a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis on pre-physical therapy. She earned her Master of Physical Therapy degree from Rockhurst College (now University). Her areas of interest in physical therapy include outpatient orthopaedics, sports rehabilitation, manual therapy, and spinal dysfunction.
Erin is married to her husband, Adam, and has twin girls, Samantha and Allie. She also has a golden doodle Irish wolfhound mix named Chief. She is a football wife, as her husband is the head football coach at the local University of Central Oklahoma. In her free time, Erin loves spending time outdoors, hiking, grilling, and gardening. In her past life, she did triathlons and still enjoys long-distance cycling. She is a health nut, wine enthusiast, and dog lover.

Physical TherapistTyler was born and raised in Liberty Hill, Texas (a suburb of Austin) along with a twin sister and older sister. He attended Liberty Hill High School and lettered in football, basketball, and baseball.
Tyler’s interest in physical therapy sparked when first applying to college and developed into a passion through time spent shadowing/volunteering at several outpatient physical therapy clinics in the Liberty Hill area during summer breaks.
Tyler attended Texas A&M University in College Station and graduated with distinction with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology-Applied Exercise Physiology. Tyler earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Angelo State University and received an Academic Excellence award for the highest GPA in his graduating class. While completing his doctorate at Angelo State, Tyler became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
His areas of interest in physical therapy include outpatient orthopedics, sports injuries and rehabilitation, and general strength/conditioning for all ages.
Tyler enjoys traveling, playing recreational sports, exercising, spending time with his wife and family, fishing, being outdoors, and woodworking. He and his wife also love to cook and are excited to try all the best food spots in OKC.
