Janie Taylor PT, DPT, OCS
CEOJanie Taylor, PT, DPT, OCS, is a partner in Physical Therapy Central as well as Confluent Health. She currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Physical Therapy Central. Janie started her career with Physical Therapy Central in 2006 as a staff physical therapist. She became a managing partner in 2011, opening the Davis location. Prior to transitioning to CEO, Janie took on the role of Regional Director for PTC, as well as Director of Compliance.
In 2003, Janie graduated summa cum laude from Oklahoma State University with an BS in Human Sciences. She then attended the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, graduating with a master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2006. Janie earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree from A.T. Still University, School of Health Sciences in 2009. Janie continued to develop her practice by earning her board certification in orthopaedics from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2010. Janie was recently honored by Oklahoma State University as a College of Human Sciences Rising Star Alumni.
Janie has been active in the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association (OPTA) since 2003, serving as membership chairman, Secretary, and 1st Vice President. She as been active with the OPTA legislative committee, advocating for the PT profession on Capitol Hill many times over the past years. Janie received the Emerging Leader Award from the American Physical Therapy Association in 2008. In 2011, Janie was awarded the OPTA Kenneth Ball Award for Significant Service to the association.
Janie enjoys spending time with her husband, Tommy, and 3 children – Kate, Harrison, and Anna. She loves warm weather activities, attending all her children’s sporting events, and rooting on her OSU Cowboys!

Regional DirectorKahn Nirschl, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT, is a Founding Partner and Regional Director for Physical Therapy Central and a Partner of Confluent Health. He also acts as the Director of Recruitment for both Physical Therapy Central and Redbud Physical Therapy and manages Multi-Site Therapy.
Kahn is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist and a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic and Manual Physical Therapists. Additionally, he is an active member of the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association, where he teaches at the state and national levels to audiences from PT students to experienced physical therapists. Kahn’s passion is to advance the knowledge and practice of Physical Therapy within Oklahoma in the areas of orthopaedics, manual therapy, and the incorporation of trigger point dry needling with advanced clinical reasoning.
Raised in Paul’s Valley, Oklahoma, Kahn received his Bachelor’s Degree from St. Gregory’s University, going on to graduate with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Creighton University. When he’s not in the clinic, he enjoys traveling with his family, usually trying to find their way to their next great adventure.

Regional DirectorJamie was born and raised in Elkhart, Kansas where she attended high school and was a multiple time All-State athlete in volleyball and basketball. She went on to play division I college basketball at the University of Oklahoma where she helped the 2002 team advance to the national championship game. Jamie graduated from OU with distinction in 2003 with her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. She went on to earn her Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in 2007, where she graduated with outstanding distinction. In 2010, Jamie became Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and in 2019 she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and completed a twelve month pain science program, becoming a Therapeutic Pain Specialist (TPS).
Jamie has been actively involved in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association (OPTA) since 2004 and is currently a member of the orthopedic and private practice sections of the APTA. Jamie is an APTA credentialed clinical instructor and loves working with students. Jamie joined Physical Therapy Central in 2008, and in 2009 she became a partner with Physical Therapy Central and Clinic Director of the Midtown Physical Therapy Central clinic. Currently she serves as Regional Director and Director of Staff Retention and Patient Engagement.
Jamie’s areas of interest include post-op orthopedics rehabilitation, prevention and rehabilitation of running and sports injuries, trigger point dry needling, chronic pain and manual therapy. She enjoys a wholistic approach to treatment and the lifelong connections being a PT creates with patients.
Outside the clinic, Jamie enjoys chasing her 3 kids around to baseball, basketball, softball and soccer games, and whatever other activities they keep her busy with. Jamie enjoys OU athletics, running, being outside and overall health and fitness.

Regional DirectorBrandon is proud to be born and raised in Altus, OK where he graduated from Altus High School in 1999. He received his Associate’s Degree in Biology from Western Oklahoma State College in 2001. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Zoology-Biomedical Sciences from the University of Oklahoma in 2004. Brandon went on to pursue his Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, graduating in 2007.
Brandon is a devoted member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association (OPTA) since 2004. He is currently a member of the Orthopedic and Sports Sections of ATPA. In 2010, he was named as the State Government Affairs Chairman of the OPTA. As Chairman he assists in monitoring and advocating for Oklahoma laws to insure patient’s access to quality physical therapy care. Brandon annually attends APTA sponsored State Government Affairs and Federal Advocacy Forums where he represents the OTPA advocating to legislators on issues relating to physical therapy.
In 2011, Brandon earned his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification from the American Physical Therapy Association demonstrating advanced skill and education in the area of Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Brandon continues to pursue clinical experience in spinal dysfunction, sports injuries, orthopedic injuries and manual therapy.
Brandon currently lives in Oklahoma City and enjoys traveling and spending time with friends. He is a “Cubbie”, being the biggest Chicago Cubs fan this side of the Mississippi River, and also enjoys outdoor activities including, snowboarding, wakeboarding, cycling, and running.

Regional DirectorAndrew was born and raised in Flower Mound, Texas; a city within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. He grew up with one younger brother and sister. He attended Flower Mound High School where he was the lead drum major for the school’s marching band. Andrew also played the alto saxophone throughout his high school years and carried this passion through two undergraduate years as a member of the University of Oklahoma’s Pride of Oklahoma Marching Band.
During his sophomore year in college, Andrew experienced a shoulder injury requiring extensive physical therapy. This event, along with the caring effort of his physical therapist, lead Andrew to change his career path towards the pursuance of a degree in physical therapy.
Andrew graduated with distinction from the University of Oklahoma in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Studies. Aside from being a part of the marching band, he participated in campus and community activities including OU’s Big Event, an annual student volunteer-driven community service project. He also was an active member of the Student Physical Therapy Association and volunteered regularly at his local church. Andrew was among the first class from the University of Oklahoma to graduate with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2011. He is currently an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association.
Andrew’s interests include manual therapy, spinal manipulation, orthopedics and sports rehabilitation, and the management of spinal dysfunctions. Due to his passion for manual orthopedic physical therapy, he completed EIM’s orthopedic residency program in December of 2013. Completion of this program allowed Andrew adequate preparation to sit for the Orthopedic Specialty certification examination, and he is now an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS).
He married his high school sweetheart in November 2010 and now resides in Oklahoma City where he and his wife are excited to enjoy the comforts of their first home. Soon after moving to his new home, he adopted a Golden Retriever who, at times, is a little on the crazy side..but is still the best dog in the world. Andrew’s wife, Maria, pursues a rewarding career as a speech-language pathologist. When not at work, he loves spending time with his wife, reading for pleasure, traveling, exercising, and snow skiing. He loves fitness in general and running outside when Oklahoma weather allows it. Andrew also enjoys providing medical and physical therapy services within in the community by volunteering at sporting events such as the Endeavor Games, a nationally recognized competition between athletes with various physical disabilities.

Regional DirectorElizabeth grew up in Yukon, Oklahoma with her parents and younger sister. She was involved in gymnastics and cheerleading when she was younger. She attended Yukon High School and was a cheerleader for the Millers. After high school, she attended the University of Oklahoma and went on to cheer for the OU Sooners from 2002-2004. Elizabeth also worked as a physical therapy technician during college and this was when she felt a calling to go into Physical Therapy as a profession. After completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Studies, she was accepted into the OU physical therapy program. Elizabeth received her Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2008.
While in PT school, Elizabeth was awarded the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association W.K. West Scholarship in 2007 and also received the Elam-Plowman Physical Therapy Scholarship in both 2007 and 2008. The scholarships were based on academic excellence and GPA. Elizabeth had several clinical affiliations in outpatient orthopedic settings which emphasized exercise progression as well as manual and manipulative therapy. She worked with orthopedic surgeons for the first two years after graduating and has extensive experience in the area of sports medicine and post-surgical rehabilitation.
In 2012, Elizabeth completed an orthopaedic physical therapy residency through Evidence in Motion. Elizabeth is one of the first physical therapists in Oklahoma to complete a post-graduate residency program. She also obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy through the same program. Graduating from the residency program qualified her to sit for an examination to become a Board Certified, Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). Elizabeth passed this test and obtained her OCS certification in June 2013.
In July 2016, Elizabeth received her Pelvic Health Certification through Evidence in Motion. This program was 12 months long and included online work along with 32 hours of classroom work. Elizabeth’s certification enables her to treat both women and men with pelvic pain, urinary and fecal incontinence, SI joint/hip dysfunction, chronic low back pain related to pelvic dysfunction, pregnancy/post-partum pain and pain with intercourse.
Elizabeth is currently an active member of both the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association (OPTA).
Elizabeth resides in Norman, OK with her husband, Jarod. She and Jarod have two daughters, Lucy and Reese. Jarod owns and operates a local recording studio and is very involved in the music scene in Norman. Elizabeth and Jarod enjoy traveling, doing anything outside and cheering on the OU Sooners and the OKC Thunder.

Regional DirectorDale was born and raised in NW Oklahoma in the small town of Camargo. He went to Leedey High School where he loved the outdoors and playing baseball for the Mighty Bison who went to 6 State Tournaments. Following high school, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK in 2002. He furthered his education by earning a Master of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2005. Dale graduated with distinction at the top of his class and was inducted into the Alpha Eta Honor Society.
Following nominations from the faculty at OUHSC, Dale was awarded the prestigious Mary McMillan Scholarship Award from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) in 2005. The Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association (OPTA) awarded Dale with the Clinical Education Excellence Award from Langston University in 2009 for providing excellence in clinical instruction to physical therapy students.
Dale’s physical therapy interests include outpatient orthopedics, sports injuries, spinal dysfunction, manual therapy including dry needling, and he enjoys volunteering for sporting events for athletes with disabilities. He is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (OCS) through the APTA. He is currently an active member of both the APTA and the OPTA, and he is currently a member of the private practice and orthopedic sections of the APTA. Dale has completed Levels I and II of the manual therapy certification through the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). Dale’s next endeavor is to begin a combined Transitional Doctorate (t-DPT) in Physical Therapy and certification through the Executive Program in Private Practice Management through Evidence in Motion.
Dale currently resides in Leedey, OK with his wife Christa and their three sons: Aidyn, Hudsyn, and Holdyn. The Borens enjoy spending time together outdoors, where their boys like going to the park, getting wet, or looking for animals at the farm. When Dale and Christa get time to themselves, they enjoy going out to dinner and a movie. In the fall, they enjoy hitting the woods to go deer hunting, where Christa usually shows her husband up!
Dale would like for his clients to know that he brings small town values to the clinic daily. He is compassionate about physical therapy and his clients, and he will go above and beyond to assist his clients in the attainment of their personal and functional goals.
