Steven Wesnidge PT, DPT
Clinic DirectorSteven was born and raised in Newcastle, Oklahoma. He grew up with a passion for sports, playing football, powerlifting, and track and field. After graduating from Newcastle High School in 2007, he went on to Oklahoma City Community College and then the University of Oklahoma where he graduated in 2013 with his Bachelors of Science and honors with an overall 4.0 GPA during his undergraduate college career. While working towards his Bachelors degree, Steven worked as a physical therapy technician at Physical Therapy Central of Newcastle, where he gained valuable skills that eventually led him towards a career as a physical therapist. Steven then went on to attend and graduate from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2017 with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. While in physical therapy school, Steven completed student rotations in several fields, including orthopedics, acute care rehab and sport rehab.
Upon graduating from physical therapy school, Steven worked at Physical Therapy Central of Newcastle, while obtaining his Manual Therapy Certification in Orthopedics from Evidence in Motion. He then went on to work in home health for two years, while specializing in post-operative care for joint replacement of the knee, hip and shoulder. While working in home health, Steven eventually wanted to return to his hometown of Newcastle to serve the community and continue building his orthopedic skills. Steven’s areas of interest include orthopedic injuries, post-operative care, and deconditioning. Steven is also an active member in APTA and OPTA.
Steven enjoys spending his spare time with friends and family, exercising, going to concerts, watching OU football, playing the guitar and listening to music. He has one spoiled fur baby named Scout and is getting married in September 2021.

Physical Therapy AssistantCynthia was born in south Florida and moved to Oklahoma at a young age. After graduating high school in Tulsa, she attended The University of Oklahoma where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Education in Community Counseling. After working as a mental health therapist for six years, she changed careers. In 1998 she earned her Associate of Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant. For the past 25 years Cynthia has worked in outpatient physical therapy, sub-acute rehabilitation, and home health care settings. She received her certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Cynthia is passionate about working with patients with orthopedic and spinal conditions. She especially enjoys working in the outpatient setting and collaborating with colleagues for the best outcomes for the patients.
She is a member of the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Cynthia lives in Norman, Oklahoma and outside of work likes to vacation and hike in the mountains of New Mexico and Colorado with family. She also enjoys sporting events, attending concerts, reading and is an avid crossword puzzle enthusiast.

All employees work together for the care of their patients. They are constantly cleaning & sanitizing all equipment & doing everything in a safe, friendly, & professional manner.
Most important is I am now able to use my left leg in a normal manner. When I was 1st recommended to this company it was necessary for me to use a walker & even that was difficult.
