Kevin WilcherPT, DPT, OCS
Kevin grew up in Altus, Oklahoma, where he actively participated in basketball and tennis during high school. He also has vast experience instructing both tennis and swimming lessons to various age groups and skill levels. After high school Kevin attended the University of Oklahoma where he earned a Bachelor’s in Zoology with an emphasis in Bio-Medical Sciences
He continued his studies and earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Emory University. Emory University is located in Atlanta, Georgia and is ranked as one of the top physical therapy programs in the Nation. During physical therapy school he served as the student liaison for the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Kevin was also chosen by Emory University to represent them as a student panel member during their Accreditation Process. His special interests in PT school also included research studying EMG activity of the lower leg and mechanics at the foot and ankle.
Kevin’s joined the Physical Therapy Central family to further pursue his special interests in orthopedics, sports-related injuries, and spine rehabilitation. He has completed an 18-month residency program in orthopaedic physical therapy through Evidence in Motion. After completing the Residency, he earned the distinction of Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) by the American Physical Therapy Association. Kevin has also directly worked with performing artists from a variety of traveling Broadway shows in here in Oklahoma.
Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife Candice and his 2 children, especially if the outdoors are involved. During his free time he enjoys traveling, watching movies, playing golf and volleyball, and exploring new music. His is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association (OPTA), and the Northwest Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce.
Kate GlasgowPT, DPT
Kate was born and raised in Moore, OK and graduated from Westmoore High School. Throughout high school she was a member of the track, basketball, and cheerleading teams. After graduating in 2008, she attended the University of Oklahoma where she was an active member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority, serving on many Panhellenic and College-wide committees. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in pre-medicine, and graduated magna cum laude from the Honor’s College.
Kate earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2016. During school, she completed four rotations where she gained valuable experience working with both pediatric and adult patients with a wide array of neuromuscular and orthopedic disorders. She also served as a volunteer medical staff member at the OKC Memorial Marathon and the Endeavor Games for athletes with physical disabilities.
Kate has been an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association (OPTA) since 2013. She is a member of the orthopedic section of the APTA. Her areas of interests include orthopedics, manual therapy, health/wellness and prevention, sports injuries, vestibular therapy, pregnancy-related low back and hip pain, pediatric disorders, and trigger point dry needling. She is currently working on her Manual Therapy Certification through Evidence in Motion, and plans to become a Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist in the spring of 2018.
Kate currently lives in Oklahoma City with her husband, Logan, but they love to get away to southern Colorado every chance they get to go hiking, fishing, hunting, four-wheeling, and skiing. Kate also enjoys spending her weekends trying out new local restaurants, watching/attending football and baseball games, and spending time with family, friends, and her two fur-babies, Rowdy and Ruger.
