Cate WrightPT, DPT, OCS
Cate was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan but grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma with her parents, brothers, and dogs. When she was younger, she participated in soccer, competitive tumbling, dance, softball, and tennis. In 2007, she graduated from Edmond North High School, where she advanced to the state tennis doubles finals in her junior and senior years and was selected to participate in All-State Tennis after her senior year. She then attended the University of Oklahoma in Norman, where she was very active in the Pi Beta Phi sorority.
Cate graduated from OU in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science. Passionate about pursuing a career in physical therapy, she moved up I-35 to earn a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the OU Health Sciences Center in 2014. She was a recipient of the Alice Sowers Scholarship.
Cate is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association (OPTA). She completed the Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency through Evidence in Motion in October of 2016. She officially became Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 2017.
Cate currently lives in Oklahoma City with her husband and dogs. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, running and staying active, and rooting for the Oklahoma City Thunder and Oklahoma Sooners. Her husband has turned her into a Chicago Cubs fan and they enjoy taking weekend trips to watch them play. She enjoys traveling and exploring new places and experiences. Her most memorable trips include Japan during cherry blossom season, Hawaii, Jamaica and hiking through Yellowstone. Cate has participated in the Oklahoma City Memorial half-marathon multiple times and enjoys helping other runners achieve their goals.
Angel HaggardPT, DPT
Angel is a small town/country girl from Seminole, OK who graduated from New Lima High School in 2007. She was involved in every club and sport the school had including National Honor Society, Student Council, basketball, fastpitch/slowpitch softball, and track. She had the honor of graduating as valedictorian, becoming an OGBCA and OCA All-Stater in basketball, and competing in state track meet her senior year.
From this small beginning Angel expanded her horizons to Ada, OK to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from East Central University. Angel found her passion for physical therapy, moved to the big town of Norman, OK, and was fortunate enough to land a spot as a physical therapy technician with PT Central for a year. She was then accepted into the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center’s physical therapy program and graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree in 2017. Angel is a member of the APTA and OPTA and plans on continuing her pursuit of knowledge with additional training and certifications to better serve her patients.
Angel is still a small-town girl and cannot wait to get a house in the country with her husband, Davey, and little yorkie, Dodger. Angel enjoys spending time with her fun-loving family, being outdoors, and going to Lake Eufaula.
