Allison received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2014 from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. During her study, she received the Elam Plowman Scholarship for Excellence in Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy and the OUHSC Student Association Scholarship for her involvement in the campus community. During this time, Allison was active in the Student Physical Therapy Association as the Community Service Chair and Vice-President.
As an undergraduate, Allison attended Oklahoma State University and played ultimate Frisbee on the OSU women’s team for three years. She graduated from OSU with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiology in 2010.
Allison was raised in Edmond, Oklahoma. She showed horses all across the country with her siblings and has coached youth at the national level in many equine events. She developed an interest in physical therapy in college while being treated for a horseback riding injury.
Allison areas of interest include orthopedics, pediatrics, sports rehabilitation, yoga therapy, and injury prevention. She also enjoys helping others form healthy lifestyles and develop fitness through fun activities. Allison plans on completing a residency program through Evidence in Motion and obtaining her Orthopedic Board Certification from the APTA.
