Meet the Staff
Allison was born and raised in Edmond, Oklahoma where she was active in sports and academics from a young age, competing in soccer while graduating as a valedictorian from her high school class. Following high school, she attended the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK. As an undergraduate student, she was involved in many organizations and earned her bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science from the College of Arts and Sciences. After graduating, Allison elected to stay in Oklahoma to pursue her dream of becoming a Physical Therapist at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. During the 3-year program, she completed rotations at Select Physical Therapy, The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital, OU Medical Center Trauma ICU, and Physical Therapy Central of Yukon. These experiences provided her with the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and diagnoses and broaden her knowledge of orthopedics. She graduated in May 2019, earning her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Her areas of interest in physical therapy include manual therapy, orthopedic physical therapy, and sports rehabilitation. She is an active member of the APTA and OPTA and plans to pursue a Manual Therapy Certification in order to provide the best care for her patients.
Allison currently lives in Oklahoma City and enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading books at local coffee shops, participating in outdoor activities, and cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners. She is excited to be a part of the Physical Therapy Central team and looks forward to serving the The Village community.
Ben was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He attended Shawnee High School where he was a basketball player and All-State soccer player. He went on to graduate from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2012 with a major in Pre-Allied Health and a minor in Cross-Cultural Ministry. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Arcadia University in January of 2015.
During physical therapy school, Ben completed clinical rotations in Pennsylvania with Neurologic, Orthopedic, and Vestibular clinics. He has been an active member of the APTA since 2012 and is a member of the Orthopedic section. He completed an Orthopedic Residency in 2016 to advance his manual therapy and clinical skills. He became board certified in vestibular and concussion rehabilitation in 2018 and orthopedic physical therapy in 2019.
In May 2017, Ben returned home to OKC after living overseas in Armenia for 9 months. While there he helped to provide pro-bono physical therapy, trained local physical therapists and studied the Armenian language.
Ben enjoys spending his free time at the lake and in the mountains, being with friends, running with his dog, playing sports, and traveling internationally.
Zoey is our therapy wonder-dog here at PTC! She was born on November 27, 2013 in North Carolina, and then ventured to Philadelphia where she joined Ben Buchanan at Arcadia University’s Physical Therapy School. She worked with students there, easing their stress during lab finals and stressful exams.
Now, she lives here in Oklahoma, where she loves the people but not the hot summers. She graduated from A New Leash on Life in Norman, OK with her therapy dog certification in 2017. She’s travelled to many PTC locations over the years before settling down in Northeast Oklahoma City, where she spends her time helping patients through their physical therapy and making our staff smile.
Zoey loves meeting new people and makes sure to greet every patient with a big smile! She’s a winter girl at heart, and loves lounging outside when it’s cool out (but you won’t find her outside on a hot afternoon). Her hobbies include long runs through Mesta Park, chasing squirrels, and playing tug o’ war. Our physical therapists are amazing, but let’s be honest – Zoey is the best reason to schedule your physical therapy at our clinic!
Jessa Lane earned her Associate of Applied Science from Oklahoma City Community College.
Jessa is most interested in treating total knee replacements, balance, and generalized weakness.
In her free time, Jessa enjoys riding the peloton, watching football, and hanging out with her husband, dog, and family.
Hear what other PT Central patients have to say.
Working for PT Central is incredible. Even on my worst days, I leave work feeling valued, motivated, and encouraged. There is a culture of positivity and genuine concern for our patients and each other.

I work for PTC because of the ongoing encouragement to make myself a better therapist, provider, and person. All of this while pursuing my leadership with OPTA/APTA and going through my manual therapy certification.

I love working for PTC because it is a unique family. The people who make up PTC embody the qualities I think are so needed in healthcare. This company stands strongly for excellent customer care and service.

This is what every physical therapy experience is supposed to be. Hands-on. Intelligent. Caring.

PT Central has the greatest therapists! The staff is kind, welcoming, and thoughtful. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

If you’re looking for someone caring to help get you back to normal… you must come to PT Central.

I will always come to PT Central. If I could, I would rate it more than 5 Stars. These people deserve a higher rating.

This is the best experience I’ve ever had. They’re extremely knowledgeable and truly care about helping people.
