Our Staff: Stillwater Clinic

The physical therapists at Physical Therapy Central all have advanced physical therapy degrees at either the Master's or Doctorate level. This allows the therapists to provide efficient and effective treatment outcomes for the patients. Each member of the staff completes a minimum of 40 continuing education hours per year to stay at the top of their field.

Ken Schaecher, DPT, OCS Ken Schaecher, DPT, OCS
Board Certified in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy

Ken earned his B.S. in Sport Science at Oklahoma State University in 1994. He earned a Master of Science degree in 1998 and a Doctorate in 2003, both in Physical Therapy from Arizona School of Health Sciences in Phoenix, Arizona.

Ken is an APTA credentialed clinical instructor and has worked with students from several different physical therapy programs across the nation. He is an adjunct professor for Langston University's Doctor of Physical Therapy program and for University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center's Physical Therapy program. He teaches courses in the areas of orthopaedics, spinal dysfunction, and spinal manipulation. He was awarded the Clinical Instructor of the Year award by the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association in 2004.

Ken is board certified as a clinical specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy and specializes in manual therapy and exercise, orthopaedics, sports, and spinal dysfunction. He is currently working towards a manual therapy fellowship through the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. Ken is the owner of Physical Therapy Central of Stillwater in Stillwater, OK.

Ken enjoys working with the youth at his church, playing golf, softball, and volleyball and hanging out with his wife and 3 kids and all of their activities.

Amanda Coble, PT, MPT Amanda Coble, PT, MPT

Amanda graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2006 with a BS in Physiology and an Honors BS in Pre-professional Athletic Training. For completion of her honors degree she conducted research on the effects of stretching on markers of muscular performance. Amanda was selected to give a poster presentation of this research at the National Athletic Trainers' Association annual conference in 2007; abstracts of the research were also published in the Journal of Athletic Training.

Amanda received her Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2010. She has been an active member of the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association since 2007. Her professional interests include prevention and treatment of athletic injuries, orthopedics, and prosthetics.

Amanda is currently a resident in training in orthopedic manual physical therapy with Evidence in Motion to obtain her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist designation, as well as complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

In her free time Amanda enjoys spending time with friends and family, photography, OSU sports, and volunteering in the community. Since 2008 she has been a medical volunteer at the annual Endeavor Games in Edmond which is a multi-sport athletic competition for athletes with physical disabilities.
