Our Staff: Choctaw Clinic
The physical therapists at Physical Therapy Central all have advanced physical therapy degrees at either the Master's or Doctorate level. This allows the therapists to provide efficient and effective treatment outcomes for the patients. Each member of the staff completes a minimum of 40 continuing education hours per year to stay at the top of their field.
Jeffrey Hogan, PT, MSPT, OCS
Board Certified in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy
JJeff is proud to be raised in Choctaw, OK and graduated in 1993 from Choctaw High School. He received a Bachelor of Science in Health and Sport Science and a Minor degree in Spanish Language from the University of Oklahoma in 1999. In 2001, he earned his Physical Therapist Assistant license and pursued experience in spinal dysfunction, sports injuries, and orthopedic rehabilitation areas of physical therapy.
Jeff continued his education by earning his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from in 2005. He was recognized for the 2005 Texas Woman's University Outstanding Service Award for exceptional community, career, and personal achievements. Upon graduation, he rejoined his physical therapy family with Bridgit Finley, PT, DPT, M.Ed, OCS, of Physical Therapy Central of Norman.
In 2010, he became a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, demonstrating advance skill and education in the area of Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Jeff and his colleague Brandon Trachman are the only two Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialists in the Eastern Oklahoma County area.
In 2007, his career aspirations of returning to Choctaw to serve his community were reached when he proudly opened Physical Therapy Central of Choctaw. Jeff feels he is blessed every day by the path he has chosen and the opportunities that have been provided to him. He is grateful to all those who have helped him and to his community that have received him so well.
Jeff is married to his wonderful wife, Melisa, and has four children, Kalen, 7, Sarah, 5, Kai, 2, and Kinsley, 1.
Brandon Trachman, PT, MPT, OCS
Brandon is proud to be born and raised in Altus, OK where he graduated from Altus High School in 1999. He received his Associate's Degree in Biology from Western Oklahoma State College in 2001. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Zoology-Biomedical Sciences from the University of Oklahoma in 2004. Brandon went on to pursue his Master's in Physical Therapy from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, graduating in 2007.
Brandon is a devoted member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association (OPTA) since 2004. He is currently a member of the Orthopedic and Sports Sections of ATPA. In 2010, he was named as the State Government Affairs Chairman of the OPTA. As Chairman he assists in monitoring and advocating for Oklahoma laws to insure patient's access to quality physical therapy care. Brandon annually attends APTA sponsored State Government Affairs and Federal Advocacy Forums where he represents the OTPA advocating to legislators on issues relating to physical therapy.
In 2011, Brandon earned his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification from the American Physical Therapy Association demonstrating advanced skill and education in the area of Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Brandon continues to pursue clinical experience in spinal dysfunction, sports injuries, orthopedic injuries and manual therapy.
Brandon currently lives in Oklahoma City and enjoys traveling and spending time with friends. He is a "Cubbie", being the biggest Chicago Cubs fan this side of the Mississippi River, and also enjoys outdoor activities including, snowboarding, wakeboarding, cycling, and running.
Lacey Knox, PT, DPT
Lacey grew up in Harrah, Oklahoma with her parents, older sister, and younger brother. She was active in basketball, softball, and track, attended Harrah High School and was a four year varsity player for the Lady Panthers. She competed year round across the nation playing AAU basketball, finishing as high as 12th in the nation in 2003. After high school, she attended Northern Oklahoma College on a two year basketball scholarship. After NOC, Lacey attended The University of Central Oklahoma completing her undergraduate career.
Lacey always wanted to work in an atmosphere where she could help people and physical therapy called to her when she was in high school after attending with her friend who had torn her ACL. After seeing her friend benefit from PT, Lacey decided that was the career for her. Lacey received her Bachelors of Science degree in Health Studies in 2008 and was accepted as a part of the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center's inaugural Doctorate of physical therapy program graduating in 2011 with her doctorate degree.
Lacey is currently an active member of both the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association (OPTA). Her interests include orthopedics, manual therapy and spinal dysfunctions. Lacey is planning to pursue manual therapy certifications in order to develop her physical therapy skills to effectively evaluate and treat orthopedic patients.
Lacey resides in Midwest City, OK with her dog, Pepper. Pepper is a 60 pound Catahoula who thinks she is a human and insists on sleeping in the bed with her head on a pillow. Lacey also has two nieces and a nephew who keep her hands busy when she is not working. Lacey enjoys attending local sporting events from high school basketball to OU football to OKC Thunder basketball.
