Our Staff: Choctaw Clinic

The physical therapists at Physical Therapy Central all have advanced physical therapy degrees at either the Master's or Doctorate level. This allows the therapists to provide efficient and effective treatment outcomes for the patients. Each member of the staff completes a minimum of 40 continuing education hours per year to stay at the top of their field.

Jeffrey Hogan, PT, MSPT, OCS
Board Certified in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy

Jeff is proud to be raised and living in Choctaw, OK, graduating in 1993 from Choctaw High School. He received a Bachelor of Science in Health and Sport Science and a Minor Degree in Spanish Language from the University of Oklahoma in 1999. In 2001, he earned his Physical Therapist Assistant license and pursued experience in spinal dysfunction, sports injuries, and orthopedic rehabilitation areas of physical therapy.

Jeff continued his education by earning his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from in 2005. He was recognized for the 2005 Texas Woman’s University Outstanding Service Award for exceptional community, career, and personal achievements. Upon graduation, he rejoined his physical therapy family with Bridgit Finley, PT, DPT, M.Ed, OCS, of Physical Therapy Central of Norman.

In 2007, his career aspirations of returning to Choctaw to serve his community were reached when he proudly opened Physical Therapy Central of Choctaw. Jeff feels he is blessed every day by the path he has chosen and the opportunities that have been provided to him. He is grateful to all those who have helped him and to his community that have received him so well.

In 2010, he became a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, demonstrating advance skill and education in the area of Orthopedic Physical Therapy. He enjoys involvement in the local community and Choctaw Chamber of Commerce.

Jeff is married to his wonderful wife, Melisa, and has four children, Kalen, 9, Sarah, 7, Kai, 4, and Kinsley, 2.

Lacey Knox, PT, DPT

Lacey grew up in Harrah, Oklahoma with her parents, older sister, and younger brother. She was active in basketball, softball, and track, attended Harrah High School and was a four year varsity player for the Lady Panthers. She competed year round across the nation playing AAU basketball, finishing as high as 12th in the nation in 2003. After high school, she attended Northern Oklahoma College on a two year basketball scholarship. After NOC, Lacey attended The University of Central Oklahoma completing her undergraduate career.

Lacey always wanted to work in an atmosphere where she could help people and physical therapy called to her when she was in high school after attending with her friend who had torn her ACL. After seeing her friend benefit from PT, Lacey decided that was the career for her. Lacey received her Bachelors of Science degree in Health Studies in 2008 and was accepted as a part of the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center's inaugural Doctorate of physical therapy program graduating in 2011 with her doctorate degree.

Lacey is currently an active member of both the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association (OPTA). Her interests include orthopedics, manual therapy and spinal dysfunctions. Lacey is planning to pursue manual therapy certifications in order to develop her physical therapy skills to effectively evaluate and treat orthopedic patients.

Lacey resides in Midwest City, OK with her dog, Pepper. Pepper is a 60 pound Catahoula who thinks she is a human and insists on sleeping in the bed with her head on a pillow. Lacey also has two nieces and a nephew who keep her hands busy when she is not working. Lacey enjoys attending local sporting events from high school basketball to OU football to OKC Thunder basketball.

Vanessa Roberts, PT, DPT
Vanessa was raised in Edmond, OK where she graduated from Edmond Santa Fe High School in 2005. She was later accepted into the University of Oklahoma and while at OU, began working at Physical Therapy Central in Norman. Her love for the field of physical therapy grew during her three years with the company and she decided to apply to physical therapy school. She graduated from OU with her Bachelor's in Health and Exercise Science in 2010 and began Physical Therapy School at Langston University in Langston, OK later that year.

While at Langston University, Vanessa served as the APTA Student Liaison during her first year and also served as the student body Vice President during her second year. She participated in a number of community service activities and attended many OPTA and APTA events and meetings while in school. Vanessa graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May 2013. She also received the Outstanding Student Award for her performance while in the program, as well as the Academic Student Achievement Award for maintaining a 4.0 GPA.

Vanessa has now rejoined Physical Therapy Central with interests in pediatrics as well as sports injury prevention. She continues to serve as an active member of the APTA and OPTA and is a member of the Pediatric Section of the APTA. She currently resides in Edmond, OK and when not at work, Vanessa enjoys spending time with her family and friends and volunteering at her local church.

Meredith Bailey, PT, DPT Meredith Bailey, PT, DPT

Meredith was born in Fort Worth, Texas and raised in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She attended Shawnee High School and ran varsity cross-country for four years, was an All-State soccer player, and named Athlete of the Year in 2007.

Meredith attended Oklahoma Baptist University and received her Bachelor of Science of Exercise and Health Science in 2011. She then went on and completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in May of 2014, receiving the Lester B. Sabolich Award for Clinical Excellence upon graduation.

Meredith is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) with memberships in both the Neuroscience and Orthopedic specialty groups. She is also a member of the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association (OPTA). She is interested in orthopedics, neuro-rehabilitation, and spinal dysfunctions. Meredith is planning to pursue a residency and other manual therapy certifications to enhance her ability to treat a variety of orthopedic conditions.

Meredith is currently living in Del City, Oklahoma with her husband, a fellow physical therapist. She enjoys being active and cycling with her friends and family, gardening, and traveling. Meredith also likes to try any type of craft or art project and is frequently found on the weekends covered in paint, trying to decide how abstract "art" can really look.
