Meet the Team
Andrew Bratton PT, DPT, OCS, ASTYM cert.
Regional DirectorAndrew Bratton PT, DPT, OCS, ASTYM cert.
Regional DirectorAndrew was born and raised in Flower Mound, Texas; a city within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. He grew up with one younger brother and sister. He attended Flower Mound High School where he was the lead drum major for the school’s marching band. Andrew also played the alto saxophone throughout his high school years and carried this passion through two undergraduate years as a member of the University of Oklahoma’s Pride of Oklahoma Marching Band.
During his sophomore year in college, Andrew experienced a shoulder injury requiring extensive physical therapy. This event, along with the caring effort of his physical therapist, lead Andrew to change his career path towards the pursuance of a degree in physical therapy.
Andrew graduated with distinction from the University of Oklahoma in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Studies. Aside from being a part of the marching band, he participated in campus and community activities including OU’s Big Event, an annual student volunteer-driven community service project. He also was an active member of the Student Physical Therapy Association and volunteered regularly at his local church. Andrew was among the first class from the University of Oklahoma to graduate with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2011. He is currently an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association.
Andrew’s interests include manual therapy, spinal manipulation, orthopedics and sports rehabilitation, and the management of spinal dysfunctions. Due to his passion for manual orthopedic physical therapy, he completed EIM’s orthopedic residency program in December of 2013. Completion of this program allowed Andrew adequate preparation to sit for the Orthopedic Specialty certification examination, and he is now an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS).
He married his high school sweetheart in November 2010 and now resides in Oklahoma City where he and his wife are excited to enjoy the comforts of their first home. Soon after moving to his new home, he adopted a Golden Retriever who, at times, is a little on the crazy side..but is still the best dog in the world. Andrew’s wife, Maria, pursues a rewarding career as a speech-language pathologist. When not at work, he loves spending time with his wife, reading for pleasure, traveling, exercising, and snow skiing. He loves fitness in general and running outside when Oklahoma weather allows it. Andrew also enjoys providing medical and physical therapy services within in the community by volunteering at sporting events such as the Endeavor Games, a nationally recognized competition between athletes with various physical disabilities.
